Built in 1790, the Lansdowne Arms was the town residence for William Perry Fitzmaurice, the 2nd Earl of Shelbourne, and is one of the oldest landmarks in Kenmare. Taken over by the Quill family in 2002, the property was renovated but kept in the historic traditional Victorian style that it was originally designed in.
Now a 26 bedroom Boutique Style family-run property, the hotel has a warm and friendly atmosphere with a plush interior and a focus on the authentic Irish experience. The Lansdowne Arms Hotel is a perfect base offering you great food, comfortable and spacious rooms and a resting place in the heart of Kerry.
We look forward to welcoming you at the Lansdowne Arms Hotel.
